As mentioned above, antisemitism in certain permutations, is rather obvious and readily identifiable. But in other respects, as noted by many scholars, it is exceedingly complex, which can at times make it difficult for the neutral observer or the uninitiated to identify the content and depth of the antisemitic dynamics in play.
In truth, most people, Jews and non-Jews alike, have no idea as to the ominous dimensions of this prejudice. Indeed, most policy makers let alone average readers will not be plowing through the voluminous research produced by experts to search for the statistical data regarding this most enduring and lethal of humanity’s hatreds. This dearth of information is made more deleterious by the plethora of false assumptions regarding the nature, dimensions, and consequences of this particular animus.
This widespread lack of awareness is a critical accelerant enabling the efforts of antisemites and the proliferation of antisemitism as arguably the most globally common prejudicial discourse of our times. Failing to acknowledge the alarming extent of the problem enables its propagation by generating inaction and ineffective policies. It also provides immunity from scrutiny for antisemites who are often able to maintain their anonymity or hide in public view as legitimate participants in the pursuit of humanitarian objectives and the public good.
Making some of the existing data on the global enterprise of antisemitism in its vast and damning detail more accessible to the public, is therefore immensely important. We hope this brief overview will introduce the reader to at least some of the basic contours of this pathology and contribute to a more sober evaluation of what we are facing in the globalized arena of 21st century Jew-hatred.
…widespread lack of awareness is critical to enabling antisemites and accelerating the spread of antisemitism as arguably the most globally common prejudicial discourse of our times
“Globalized antisemitism is a thriving international enterprise that transverses cultures and civilizations. You can help us fight the this most enduring, pervasive, and lethal mode of hatred.”

Donate“No other widespread prejudice has characterized people as such cosmological threats…. No other prejudicial discourse has been so eliminationist or produced such regular calls for violence and extermination.”
